Freaky Friday

I don't think I have ever blogged on Freaky Friday!  I have had the last 2 days off and have been loving it.  My sister in law (Tiffany), niece (Blakely), cousins (Lauren and Natalie) have been here the last 2 days and we have stayed busy.

Wednesday night I made chili dogs for EVERYONE (mom, dad, Paige, me, Matt, Tiffany, Blakely, Joey, Lindsey, Lauren, and Natalie) that was lots of work and they were tasty!  My dad discovered the kitchen table wasn't large enough for that many family members but we managed.  Following supper we went over to Stewart's pool and swam for a little bit...

Thursday and Friday I dragged all the girls around to do errands, eat, and swim AND they ALL loved it!  Especially the 7 AM morning walk we took.

Following our busy/relaxing Thursday, Tiffany, Lindsey, and I went and got pedicures.  LOVE LOVE LOVE!  I had to take a picture (which I never do) of my toes because this girl made me laugh!

Following toes, we had the pleasure of helping Lindsey register for Baby Stewart!  That was fun and brought back scary memories of how much money is spent on babies!  Then Lindsey treated Tiffany and I to Culvers for ice cream!  What a great sister :)

The following pictures are Friday events.  Blakely was in heaven here because she was watching a movie and about to eat a Casey's doughnut for breakfast!  What better way to live :)

What would I do without my sister in law?  She helped me prepare some dips for tomorrow.  She was not excited about me taking her picture but I did anyways :)

HAHAHAHAHAHA......Lauren volunteered to clean Paige's room while the other girls were outside playing in the water.  What a MISTAKE she made!  This is what a girl's room looks like after 2 days of 4 girls playing in it.  Seriously...how can anyone make this kind of mess.  I noticed last night after we got home from Des Moines, there was the fruit snacks box and wrappers laying on Paige's floor.  Looked like Grandpa Ron was watching the girls close!  Lauren took about an hour to clean the room and looked wonderful once she was done.  Doesn't she look enthused in the picture?

I would like to say thanks to the girls for coming and visiting and tolerating us for a few days.  See Tiff and B Tuesday night again!  As you can see, we can't get enough of each other!

After all this crazy fun I'm enjoying a peaceful house while Paige naps.  I was able to clean the house and re group!  Bryon flies in tonight and Paige is so excited to see daddy!  It will be nice having him around for a week to hang out and help!  Paige will be in heaven.  Tonight I work so that means I have to go get ready and get Paige up from her nap since Kelli is coming to get her.  The Brendelands (Brian, Blake, and Paige) are going to get Bryon from the airport tonight.  How nice of them :)

I'm in heaven right now!   Its 6:45 A.M. and I have the next 2 day off and Paige is still sleeping.  Paige is probably asleep still due to her 3 days of Princess Dance Camp and her 3 cousins that are here.

Paige's friends (cousins) arrived in PC around 5:30 and the fun began!  I made chili dogs and then we all went to the Stewart's pool for some swimming.

Sounds like a fun day to me.  I'm not sure if my dad thinks tonight will be fun watching 4 girls but 2 of the girls are older and can help him with the 2 smaller ones.  He has it made tonight.

1 of my cousins just came upstairs awake so that must mean it is time to get off the blog!  Have a good day everyone and enjoy this HOT HOT HOT weather :)

MANIAC Monday

I thought maybe after a hectic weekend, our Monday would be calm.  That was not the case today and it was far from being calm.  Woke up this morning thinking I should stay home because I couldn't talk and all stuffed up...but...I got my booty out of bed and got ready since I won't be working Thursday and Friday this week!

Today was Paige's 1st day of Princess Dance Camp and she said she had fun.  She showed me her dance move she learned and that was about it.  I asked her what else they did and her famous saying...Ummm I don't know.

After work I thought I would be able to come home and relax but I was wrong again!  I got a text from my realtor (Joey Taylor-Moon) that we have a house showing tomorrow morning.  So that meant I had to sweet talk my dad into going over to my house and mowing.  While mowing Paige wanted me to take some pictures of her -

You may notice the crab shirt.  My dad picked Paige up from daycare today sine I had a meeting after work and had to go to the dry cleaners and when I got home tonight she wanted to make sure I noticed that she had changed her outfit.  She felt like a crab so she wanted to put her crab shirt on!

As you can it has been a maniac Monday but get ready for Tasty Tuesday tomorrow.  I'm going to post the recipe to the pulled pork sandwiches that I mentioned last week.  I thought it was really good but my dad did not care for the taste of it.  So you will just have to try for yourself and see!

Laundry buzzer just went off so gotta go fold clothes....

SUNday FUNday

My parents took Paige to the Art Festival on Friday night

Saturday was a BLAST...went to Adventureland with my parents and Kelli and Blake

 This was the tea cups and was the first ride...I got sick within the first 30 seconds of it but Paige loved it!

   This was a hilarious first ride...did not know what to expect at all!

Gotta love these kids!

We had a fun time and will need to go back before the summer ends because we ran out of time and the train was out of commission.  

After A-Land my mom, Paige, and I traveled to big ol town McClelland Iowa to spend the night with my favorite people (Matt, Tiffany, and Blakely)

I'm pretty sure I got B to take the most steps walking ever that night!!!

We left the girls with my mom and we went into town to the Dew Drop for a couple drinks and listened to a band.  We were home by 10:30 because we are cool like that!

On Sunday we went to Omaha to visit my aunt and her family.  Paige just adores her cousins

This was me and Sam - the first thing he showed me was a band-aid he had on his elbow and reminded me the whole time we were there about his band-aid.  What a cutie he is!

We left Omaha and then went to Firehouse Subs in Council Bluffs.  Des Moines needs to get one!

The day didn't stop after the drive home (got my mom to drive my car so I could attempt to nap because I have lost my voice and all stuffy and once I would fall asleep Paige would be pulling at my hair from her seat.  How mean is that!)

Once we got back to PC, we went out on the boat

THEN....we went to Leaning Tower to eat pizza and then we got home and showered and Paige had to try her dance leotard on for Princess Dance Camp that starts tomorrow.  (don't mind her hair - she hasn't brushed it since shower)  She then proceeds to pose for me... 

That is all I got for SUNday FUNday folks!  We had a great time this weekend with friends and family and are tuckered out and ready for bed.
