LOOK OUT...I have blogged two days in a row!!!
Last night's nature hike lasted about an hour and there wasn't much nature things going on in Polk City during our hike! Paige had to pick grass from about every yard! Here is a picture of Paige and Launa's findings...
Maybe next hike we will hit the bike trails and see if we can find anything better! The girls did find some garbage and wanted to pick it up but I wouldn't let them! I don't think we need to pick up dirty shoe laces, Casey's straws, or cigarettes!
I don't have much for what is trending but Paige is still in the swing of changing outfits all day long. The outfit she has on in the picture above was only her 2nd outfit for the day!
Tonight I tried a new recipe and would like to share since I will probably forget next week and it was really good.
This was from Crockin' Girls so I can't take the credit for it.
Bacon Ranch Chicken
4 Boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 Tablespoons of Real Bacon Bits (I used Turkey Bacon)
1 Teaspoon of Minced Garlic
1 Package of Ranch dressing mix
1 Can of Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Cup of Sour Cream
Cooked egg noodles
Combine bacon, garlic, ranch dressing mix, soup, sour cream and mix well
Pour over chicken in the slow cooker. I cooked it for 8 hours on low. When I got home from work I shredded the chicken and then cooked the noodles on the stove. After the noodles are cooked, pour the chicken mixture over the noodles and enjoy!
This recipe had a nice taste I thought, but my dad wanted to add some hot sauce to it to give it more flavor...whatever Dad! Paige even said it was good and cleaned her plate clean.
The CMT awards are on tonight and start in about 2 minutes, so gotta run! Enjoy your evening everyone.
