Last weekend, Paige suggested we go to Johnny's to get our nails done. So after getting my oil changed, we headed to Johnny's for a little pampering!
Following some pampering and shopping at Target with Lindsey, Paige had Brinn come over for a sleepover. Man, those girls can play and they can also use every toy in the house!!
I felt the need to take a picture of my HUGE rice krispie bar from Palmers this week. I munched on it after lunch at work but was little disappointed. Normally there are more marshmallows in it and a little gooier!
On Friday last week, I had a itch for chocolate after lunch. During a break, I walked to Walgreens and found this! yum yum...love me some marshmallow and chocolate. I can't believe there is Halloween candy already out, which also means my birthday is coming up.
The picture below, brings us to this weekend. Friday night after work, we drove out to McClelland to attempt to surprise my brother for his birthday. However, we were not successful in the surprise due to special circumstances that we will not go into!
Paige and Blakely thought they both had to ride the 4 wheeler at the same time. Crazy girls! Speaking of crazy, Paige's hair is a train wreck.
My brother now has 2 horses @ his house. He lets some guy keep his horses out at his house so we get to enjoy the benefits of it. I am not a horse lover at all, so you will never catch me near it! Paige thought it was pretty cool.
We stayed the night at Matt's house Friday night and hung out there Saturday for a bit then came home and proceeded on a new adventure.
I borrowed Tiffany's bike and trailer so Paige and I could go on a bike ride with the Brendelands. We rode from Slater to her Kayla's house. It was probably a 4 mile bike ride and Paige loved it.
I can tell ya, my booty was hurting this morning from the bike ride though! But well worth it I think.
Once we got to Kayla and Jason's house, we went through the gardens and found watermelon and cantaloupe to pick.
Isn't Brady so cute :)
I think this is a sign that summer is coming to a close. We had a bon fire and roasted hot dogs and had smores. It got chilly later on the night and we had to put sweatshirts on. I love this weather!
So...that has been my last 2 weekends and hope you enjoyed it!
Today after church my parent's took Paige with them to Omaha for the day. Because of Paige being gone, I have been forced to clean, organize, and do laundry. UGH! But I can tell ya, it feels better to have the chores done and being able to relax!
Well so long and hopefully it won't be 2 weeks before I blog again!
I love biking with the kids!
